Early birds were sure to get their first choice at the third Food Truck Thursday.
May’s SoMa Food Truck Thursday showed that a little rain can’t keep a good time from happening.
The crowd may have been a bit smaller and the trucks a bit fewer, but the folks who did come out were pretty happy about the evening, commenting on the shorter waits in line and the as-always-great quality of the food.
And the cool air was just right.
Josie Webb, daughter of Amy and Walt Webb of Argenta, waits on her soft taco from Chef Bob’s, while Lori Moore serves up delicious vegetarian fare at Green Cuisine.
If you missed it this time, there’s always next month. We’ve had questions about some misinformation posted on other sites and just general confusion about the concept, so we’ll stress again that official name is SoMa Second Thursday Truck Night in The Bernice Garden.
That means the second Thursday of each month as long as weather allows. If something special comes up, of course you’ll be the first to know. But go ahead and mark you calendars for the next few months.
The offerings are too yummy and the company too fine to miss even one. Trust us – once you’ve come, you’ll want to come back.
